Definition of fluxmeter

A fluxmeter is a magnetic measuring instrument for measuring magnetic flux (amount). It is used for the measurement of the space magnetic field and the magnetic research of materials. Commonly used are magnetoelectric, electronic and digital integral three types.
How to use the fluxmeter
1. Regarding the single coil, you can wind the wire on the sample by yourself, or make a set that is a little larger than the sample, put the sample inside and pull it out for testing;
2. Equipped with a fixed B coil for testing, basically each sample specification should be equipped with a test coil of a specification.
3. Equipped with a Helmholtz coil for testing, a Helmholtz coil can measure samples within a certain size range (the customer needs to provide the minimum sample and maximum sample size).
Because the "lifting method" is usually used when using a fluxmeter (meter) to detect permanent magnets, the method of applying magnetic flux to magnetized samples with flat coils is intuitive and effective, but the disadvantage is that for each sample of different specifications, Coils of different sizes must be made. Strictly speaking, for very thin samples, the preparation of detection coils is also difficult, labor-intensive and inefficient. However, using Helmholtz coils to measure magnetic flux can solve the above problems to a certain extent, so it is a good choice for a fluxmeter to measure magnetic flux with Helmholtz coils.
Before using the fluxmeter, it must be preheated according to the requirements, and the integral drift must be adjusted during use to make the drift within the specified range. Before each measurement, reset and clear to release the residual charge or drift integral charge of the integral capacitor.
When the magnetic circuit of the magnet is closed, the fluxmeter can be used to measure and calculate the residual magnetism. The specific calculation method is: Br=Φ/N/S where: Φ--magnetic flux; N--coil turns; S--magnet cross-sectional area.
